Home grown success at Fine Food Australia

The FLA team recently took nine regional producers to co-exhibit at Australia’s largest foodservice trade show, Fine Food Australia in Melbourne. The regional producers who made the trek south were; Kialla Pure FoodsBarambah OrganicsInglewood Organic, Clayton's Organic Beef, Four Daughters Beef
Jimmies, Grazers, Mort & Co and Grassland Goats.

The TSBE stand was Queensland’s only collective representation stand and went a long way in promoting our region as a food bowl to domestic and international buyers. The overall reception and feedback from the trade show was outstanding, with many great connections made for our producers and FLA team.

TSBE partnered with Meat & Livestock AustraliaAustralian Culinary Federation, and UNOX Australia holding close to 25 live cooking demonstrations across the four day event. Professional chefs showcased the premium produce of our collective group to really highlight the qualilty of regional production in the finished product on a plate.

TSBE’s facilitiation at this event meant suppliers and producers had access to peak bodies and organisations within the custom built 57m2 trade booth. Trade show attendance represents large costs for exhibitors, especially for SMEs. Taking a collective approach provided the opportunity for many in the group to exhibit.

The success of Fine Food Australia 2023 has spurned the team on to create the same opportunities for more regional producers in the coming years.
