In November we will highlight a number of significant renewable solar and wind projects set for commencement in our region. The November 10 Enterprise Evening is based around renewable energy projects with speakers from Canadian Solar (Oakey), Origin Energy (Dalby) and AGL Energy Ltd (wind farm at Bell), held in Dalby. 

Access China – what a trip!

What an amazing opportunity for our firms involved in resources, energy and manufacturing to see China’s interest in these sectors on a grand scale. Site tours included a visit to Shanghai Electric, Shanghai Sany Tech, Yangshan Deepwater Port and Baosteel. The tour visited an LNG plant and we also heard about China’s aggressive multi-billion dollar investment in the renewables sector, with power generation equipment, turbines and towers under construction for projects all over the world.
