![]() ![]() Dear @{aspediacrm-person-firstname}
This month we welcomed 16 Texans from Weatherford in the USA who came to visit our region. They were eager to form partnerships and use the Toowoomba and Surat Basin region as an example of a successful economic development to model back home.…and we made some new friends along the way!
The state of the region was discussed at our sold out Enterprise Evening in February with an impressive panel presenting on their vision of the future for their industry.
We have our next Enterprise Evening in Roma on 14 March so this will be a great chance to see what is happening in the Maranoa region.
This month also saw 24 teams tee off for our annual TSBE Surat Basin Industry Classic at the Dalby Golf Course. A great day was had by everyone and it was good to see the Black Toyota team take out the trophy once again, this time on their home soil.
In partnership with the Western Downs Regional Council we released the Development Status Report that identifies over $7 billion of investment in development projects in the Western Downs region.
We are looking forward to the Intensive Animal Industry Conference on 7 March in Dalby. It will bring together the beef, pork, poultry and dairy industries to discuss ideas, network and learn how to make our region's Intensive Animals Industry even more successful.
