Women in Technology (WiT)

Women in Technology (WiT) has been building a warm, welcoming STEM community for 25 years. Today our community is one of the biggest in Australia with 9,500 members and affiliates, and more than 56,600 affiliates in its network.

As a peak community for professional women in Queensland, we provide a range of networking, professional development, mentoring and collaboration opportunities in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment to advance, connect and empower women in STEM who work or study in fields such as agricultural technology, health, energy, biotechnology, science, research, IT, digital and many more.

The annual WiT Awards provides a highly visible, well-respected platform for recognition and the opportunity for women in regional Queensland to showcase their STEM-based innovation, initiative or research contributions to a large, diverse group of key industry influencers, leaders, executive decision-makers and peers across Queensland’s STEM community.
