In a double feature, we will also hear from Leah McKenzie, the Project Director for the Borumba Pumped Hydro Project. A key initiative of the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan. This major project will develop a pumped hydro energy storage system at Lake Borumba, capable of dispatching 2,000MW and storing energy for up to 24 hours. Learn and hear an update on the opportunities surrounding the construction of a new, higher dam and an underground power system that will link two reservoirs, optimizing energy generation and storage.
