Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) proudly flew the flag for regional Queensland at Agritechnica, the world’s largest agricultural technology trade show, held in Hannover, Germany last month.

As part of the Australian Pavilion, TSBE showcased the best of regional agribusiness and agri-tech innovation, hosting Data Farming, Nuffield Australia, TTQ, UniSQ, SwarmFarm and T3rra.

Our mission was clear: transform regional potential into global economic outcomes.

TSBE Food Leaders Australia General Manager, Rowie Beveridge said our mission was to advocate for sustainable supply-chain practices, connect regional innovators with global markets and build the skills and infrastructure required for a competitive, sustainable-ready agribusiness sector.

 

“Autonomy is being held back by regulation across the globe. Australia is no exception, we’re facing the same challenges as everyone else, such as, labour constraints, geopolitics, sustainability targets and ESG reporting requirements,” Ms Beveridge said.

 

“We’re seeing duplication everywhere, in software, hardware, even concepts and functionality. Add to that the stark contrast between government agendas and commercial priorities and it’s obvious the end goals aren’t aligned.

 

“This is where TSBE steps in. Our strength is connecting partners across government and industry, breaking down barriers for members and driving regional investment.”

TSBE was proud to join the Team Australia AgriTechnica Mission alongside AgriFutures GrowAg and the Queensland Government (led by Queensland Department of Primary Industries and Trade and Investment Queensland).
