Toowoomba's Development Surge
TSBE releases the report biennially, providing valuable information on known developments in the Toowoomba Region. Broken down into the region’s key industries: health and education, resources, renewables, civil and road works, and private construction.
The report helps to inform and engage the community, businesses and investors to identify opportunities and challenges, and guide strategic planning and decision making.
The report highlights the substantial investment in the region over the last two years and looks ahead to what’s in the pipeline. Developments listed are those valued at more than $1 million.
The key finding of the 2024 report shows the current level of investment in Toowoomba is $20.7 billion. This is an 10.1% increase on the 2022 reported investment of $18.8 billion and highlights the confidence that both the private and public sector have in the future of the Toowoomba Region.
